Customize meta tag line : SEO Tips for blogger.com bloggers

I found an easy and good way changing the meta tag line. That is the line you'll se in the SERPs, the Google search result list. Default you see the blog name followed by the blog post title. SEO-wise it is better (and for human eye as well) to show the blog post name first. The new blogger templates is not so easy to change as the old ones where.

This is how you change the order in the meta tag line.
1. Click the Edit HTML under the Design tab in your Blogger account.
2. Download the template.
3. Replace the code

<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>

with the following code

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
<title><data:blog.pageName/> | <data:blog.title/></title>
<b:else/><title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>
</b:if>

 4. Save the template as a new file (just in case).
5. Upload your new template.
6. Done!
