Summary: basics in SEO

The basics in SEO is:

1. Frequently updated blog or website
2. Relevant content for your top keywords
3. Relevant headlines
4. Relevant inlinks

If you can achieve those 4 keys to succesful SEO time will show you that you are on the right track. Just be patient. If you can hold on for 3-4 month the result in the Google SERP should beobvious.
